Bringing a Taste of France to Reading

After 20 years in the Restaurant industry, from Fortnum&Masons, Phyllis Cort Club Henley, Forbury Restaurant, Thames Lido, I decided it was time for me to bring a little of France to Reading. I always felt ashamed to have these big chains selling “French products” that didn't taste like what I was brought up with. So, I decided to create a no fuss patisserie. With all the taste we are all used to when we travel across the channel. I started from home on Wolseley Street, in 2019 selling in pop ups across Reading and from Home. After 5 years of doing this, my kitchen got too small and in 2024 opened a production kitchen which is open to the public. I serve hot breakfast from my Trailer, coffee, pastries and toasties from the shop. Also make Birthday Cakes, Wedding Cakes, specialising in Croquembouches, and if you ask, I can do anything else you want me to do as long as I have enough notice to make it for you.

If you can't make it to the shop, you can also find me at Market Place in Reading every Friday where I take my trailer to the street food market run by Blue Collar. Open there 10-2.30. you can preorder a birthday cake and collect it from there if you want.
